About Helen Woodward Animal Center

Helen Woodward Animal Center is a compassionate and no-kill facility based in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Not only do they rescue and find forever homes for homeless animals, but they also offer a range of valuable services that benefit the local community.

Animeals is a program that provides nourishing meals to the beloved pets of low-income seniors and disabled veterans. Critter Camp is a fun and educational experience for children, teaching them respect and compassion for all living creatures. Their Therapeutic Riding program is a unique therapy that benefits physically and mentally challenged youth and adults. And with Pet Encounter Therapy, their amazing pet ambassadors bring joy and comfort to residents of skilled nursing facilities, children's shelters, and hospitals.

But that's not all! Helen Woodward also hosts the annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon, a surfing competition for dogs that raises funds for the pets in their care. They also host PAWMICON, a costume dress up for dogs to support an amazing cause!

Our Animal Shelter Donation Program Helps Enhance the Lives of Animals
